Navigator Terminal

Navigator Terminal

We’ve been supporting UK bulk liquid and gas storage terminals for several years and our trainers have been delivering industry approved mechanical joint integrity training to Navigator Terminals since 2021.

This week our Jodi Annette has been delivering 3 days ‘back-2-back’ training to teams at their NE England terminals (North Tees). It’s always great to see such continued commitment to investing in our training programmes.

  • Joint integrity training ensures that workers understand how to safely assemble, disassemble, and maintain mechanical joints (e.g., pipework, flanges).
  • Proper training minimizes the risk of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon releases during joint activities, preventing accidents and environmental damage.
  • Companies must adhere to industry standards and regulations related to joint integrity.
  • Training ensures compliance with safety guidelines, reducing legal risks and potential penalties.
  • Well-trained personnel work efficiently, leading to smoother operations.
  • Properly tightened joints prevent leaks, ensuring system reliability and minimizing downtime.
  • Leaks and joint failures can be costly in terms of lost production, repairs, and environmental cleanup.
  • Investing in training upfront saves money by preventing such incidents.
  • Competent workers contribute to a safer work environment.
  • Training enhances skills, confidence, and job satisfaction.

Why wouldn’t you invest?
