AlbaShield

Description

The Phoenix Alba-Shield is a fire-safe spiral wound gasket designed to mitigate flange face corrosion. The gasket comprises a specially configured dual seal spiral sealing element with a PTFE faced metal inner ring. The primary inner gasket ensures inert, non-reactive sealing from the bore of the flange.

Application

The Phoenix Alba-Shield was created in response to an industry-wide increase in flange face corrosion and its effects. It is designed as a standard pipeline gasket in any grade of raised faced steel flange, and in any application where conventional spiral wounds have been previously used. The Alba-Shield is firesafe as standard, seals tighter to reduce leaks, and performs to a higher level than a conventional spiral wound gasket.

I-PH

Description

Phoenix I-PH gaskets are manufactured from Neoprene faced 3mm phenolic sheet (except Type D kits which are supplied without facing). They are designed for flange solation and corrosion control in lower pressure applications, and for a variety of media including seawater. Phoenix I-PH kits have been largely superseded by the I-LP, I-HP and Isoshield styles which are more robust, and better suited to higher pressures

Description

Phoenix I-LP gaskets comprise a high strength glass reinforced epoxy core with two pressure activated O-ring seals for high integrity sealing at lower pressures. The kits are designed for flange isolation and corrosion control in lower pressure applications, and for a variety of media including gas, seawater, oil and hydrocarbons.

Description

Phoenix I-HP gaskets comprise a 316 stainless steel core laminated with a high strength glass reinforced epoxy. Two PTFE spring energised face seals, or elastomeric O-rings, are housed within the core. The kits are designed for flange isolation and corrosion control across the full range of pressure applications, and for a variety of media including gas, seawater, oil and hydrocarbons.

Halo Seal FRS

Description

The Halo Seal FRS ™ comprises a Fire safe sealing Element based based on Kammprofile technology and a unique, reusable outer ring. The specially constructed PTFE insert is designed to minimise and manage corrosion in new and existing flanges.

Insulation Sets

Description

Insulation sets are used to electrically isolate flanges. They are typically used in cathodic protection systems and to help eliminate galvanic corrosion between dissimilar flange materials. We offer insulation sets in a range of style and configurations including high pressure kits based on stainless steel reinforced epoxy gaskets with pressure energising O-Rings, and lower pressure, economical alternatives which use a neoprene faced phenolic seal.
